Detergent Polymers ACR 4500 & RDPOL series

  • Work on the concept of threshold inhibition
  • Are very efficient as they work at sub stoichiometry levels unlike inorganic builders
  • They modify the crystal surfaces (of hardness salts and other salts) and avoids their precipitation by adsorbing on their surfaces
  • The adsorption causes distortion of the crystal faces and they have less tendency to adhere to fabric or hard surfaces (in particular glass and dishware).
  • The sharp edges of the crystals which otherwise at the micro-level causes roughening of the fabric as well as hard surfaces is now minimized
